1. Copyright Ownership
All photographs taken by the Photographer remain the intellectual property and copyright of the Photographer. Copyright is not transferred to the Client unless expressly agreed upon in writing and accompanied by an additional fee.
2. License of Use
The Photographer grants the Client a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered images for the following purposes (check all that apply):
- Personal use (e.g., printing, sharing with family/friends)
- Portfolio or website
- Social media (credit required where possible)
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Editorial use (e.g., magazines, blogs)
- Commercial advertising (e.g., billboards, paid ads)
- Internal company use
- Other: __________________________
Geographic Limitations: [e.g., “United States only” or “Worldwide”]
Duration of License: [e.g., “in perpetuity,” “1 year,” “until terminated”]
Image Alterations:
The Client may not edit, filter, crop, or alter the images without the Photographer’s written permission, unless otherwise agreed upon.
3. Photo Credit
For any public or online use, credit must be given to the Photographer as follows:

4. Restrictions
The Client may not:
- Sell or redistribute the images
- Claim the work as their own
- Transfer the license to third parties
- Use the images in a defamatory or illegal context
5. Additional Licensing or Buyouts
If the Client wishes to purchase full copyright ownership or extended commercial rights, this must be negotiated separately with additional compensation.
6. Violation of Terms
Unauthorized use of images beyond the licensed terms will be considered copyright infringement and may result in legal action and/or financial penalties.
